GERMANY. Fraport Group airports served a total of 7.3 million passengers in September, an increase of +5.5% over the same period a year earlier.
Frankfurt airport reported a +0.6% increase in the month, with 4.9 million passengers. In September, Lima Airport registered 511,925 passengers, an increase of +7.1%; Antalya’s passenger numbers increased +52.1% to 775,989; Frankfurt Hahn’s passengers increased +19.2% to 338,905; Hanover increased +0.6% to 601,212; and Saarbruecken passenger numbers fell -12.6% to 52,934.
In the first nine months of the year a total of 40.2 million passengers used Frankfurt Airport, +1% more than in the comparable period in 2005.
Together the airports of the Fraport Group served 56.3 million passengers in the first nine months of the year, an increase of +1.5% over the same period the previous year.
