UK. Glasgow Airport has completed a £3.7 million (US$5 million) investment programme, delivering a range of new restaurants, retail units and enhanced passenger facilities.
The investment – implemented in partnership with several retailers and hospitality operators – has seen the introduction of two new restaurants, upgrades to existing retail units both airside and landside, and significant enhancements to the main departure lounge.

Project highlights include the opening of TRGC-operated Sanfords American Diner, which has replaced the former Frankie & Benny’s concession. The diner’s family-friendly menu features milkshakes, pizza, chicken, waffles and burgers.
Another opening is Primo Volo, an Italian café bar in the main departure lounge offering ciabatta sandwiches, pasta dishes and Italian cocktails.
Other developments include a refurbishment for the Bird and Signet Bar & Kitchen with a smart new look and improved menu; the relocation of the popular Stack & Still pancake unit; stores from Accessorize and Travelex; and a refurbished Boots store.

Glasgow Airport Head of Retail Development Craig Norton said, “We are delighted to announce the completion of this significant investment, which underlines our commitment to delivering an outstanding passenger experience at Glasgow Airport.
“The new restaurants and retail units, along with the upgraded facilities, ensure our passengers have access to modern, high-quality amenities throughout their journey.”
The retail and F&B investment forms part of a wider development programme at Glasgow Airport, which also includes ongoing upgrades to the main terminal building, airfield infrastructure and energy-efficiency initiatives.
The airport company said it is now well-equipped to meet growing demand from both passengers and airline partners.
