GMAX Travel Retail has entered a partnership with Daron Worldwide Trading to supply licensed aviation toys and collectables in travel retail.
Daron Worldwide Trading is regarded as the largest source of aviation-related collectables and transportation-themed toys in North America.
As reported, GMAX Travel Retail was set up last year by former Premier Portfolio International Sales Director Garry Maxwell. During his 18 years with Premier Portfolio – a market leader inflight for logoed products – Maxwell was heavily involved in supplying global airlines and airport shops with multiple logo and licensed products.
When Premier Portfolio ceased trading at the end of last year, its directors, Kevin Walsh and Andrew Webster, said a partnership between GMAX and Daron would ensure the continuity of Premier’s logoed items.
Commenting on his partnership with Daron Worldwide Trading, Maxwell said: “The licensed and aviation toys sector is very strong and one of the most consistent categories both in travel retail and inflight and I am delighted to be working with Jonathan Marx (Director of Business Development) and the Daron team.
“They have vast experience and an extensive product range to enable us to provide a fantastic assortment which has already been well received by many operators preparing for their post-COVID-19 return.”
