Virgin Voyages President and CEO Tom McAlpin added: “We want our retail experience to complement the overall feeling of discovery and transformation our sailors will experience. These locations will drip with innovation, beauty, creativity and our quintessential Virgin style.”

Virgin Voyages has three vessels on order with master ship builder Fincantieri, based in Genoa, Italy. The cruise line has dubbed its first fleet ‘Lady Ships’ in a nod to the brand’s British heritage, according to a Virgin Voyages statement.

The keel laying for the first vessel took place in October 2017. It will arrive at Port Miami in 2020 for its inaugural sailing season to the Caribbean.
