CANADA. HDS Retail North America has opened four new concepts at Vancouver International Airport.
With over 4,000sq ft of retail space, divided into three units, the new offerings include Virgin Books and Entertainment, Brookstone, Fruits & Passion, and Explore Sea to Sky.
Located post-security in the expansion of the domestic terminal, the architecture of the stores reflects Whistler Village, the main theme for the airport in that area.
The Virgin Books & Entertainment/Brookstone combination store is a first in Canada. It includes both a selection of newly released and best-selling books, DVDs, CDs and accessories, as well as the functional products of Brookstone.
Fruits & Passion combines a line of body care, kitchen and atmosphere products, designed to stimulate the senses and create an authentic feeling of wellbeing.
Explore Sea to Sky showcases the culture and artisan skills of Vancouver and surrounding areas by offering an array of products for the home and an assortment of personal accessories. It also offers local gourmet delicacies in a “˜beach to mountains’ environment.

“HDS Retail is thrilled to be part of the new Domestic Terminal expansion and our new speciality retail concepts are a great addition to the News & Gift and Bookstores that we currently operate in Vancouver International Airport,” said HDS Retail President & CEO Gerry Savaria.
