MACAU. Heinemann Asia Pacific has teamed up with menswear and fashion accessories company Canudilo to open a duty free fragrances & cosmetics store on the Cotai Strip in Macau.
Known as Esscents Duty Free, the 400sq m store opened in Sands Cotai Central on 11 November. Differentiating its offer from other luxury stores in the mall by focusing on selected skincare and fragrance brands, it has dedicated most of its space to the 11 most sought after skincare brands among Asian customers, and the rest to over 15 fragrance brands.

“Opening the first store in Macau brings great excitement to us,” said Heinemann Asia Pacific CEO Steffen Brandt. “Not only are we thrilled about providing the best selection of today’s popular cosmetics, skincare and fragrance brands for men and women, we look forward to offering a fresh shopping experience to visitors to Macau, with both prestige and value for the consumers.”
Canudilo Hong Kong President Choi Tak Hung added: “The launch of this store will expand our portfolio to a broader platform and equip us with the necessary know-how about this category for future growth.
“We have accumulated local knowledge since 2007 by operating two Canudilo ready-to-wear shops in the Venetian, combined with expertise and support from our partner, Heinemann Asia Pacific, we are confident in the prospect of the business,” Choi added.
Visitors to Macau can shop at the store from 10am to 11pm daily. Besides promotional and on-counter activities, wide range of sets and travel retail exclusives are available in the store.
