FRANCE. L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International has extended its Helena Rubinstein Prodigy skincare collection with a new treatment, Prodigy Night Tissular Global Anti-Ageing Concentrate. It is available now in travel retail worldwide, priced at €170 for 50ml.
To create the treatment, Rubinstein studied the impact of sleep quality on the longevity of skin beauty, in partnership with the International Longevity Centre-France. Inspired by the natural mechanism of tissue therapy, the company formulated Prodigy Night Tissular, to help the skin regain the benefits of youth through quality restorative sleep.
A key ingredient is Nocta-Sap, itself formulated with chron’algae, a micro-algae which, like melatonin (known as the sleep hormone), only acts at night. Nocta-Sap also contains plant tissue extracts at the embryonic stage, notably Japanese cedar bud and Indian vigna seed, which when combined increase cell regeneration and favour epidermal reconstruction, according to Rubinstein.
The treatment helps skin appear visibly radiant upon awakening, the company maintains, with enhanced density, and a smoother, refreshed look.
The face of Prodigy Night Tissular is Rubinstein muse Hollywood actress Demi Moore.
Also new from Helena Rubinstein is a new mascara called Lash Queen Feline Blacks. It is being launched into European and Asian travel retail this month, before being rolled out to the Americas in January 2008.
The suggested domestic price point is €30.
A collector’s edition, the mascara is said to deliver intense adornment for eyes, in terms of length and volume. The brush coats and separates each lash for cat-like suppleness, according to Rubinstein.
In line with the name, the mascara packaging is printed with a leopard-skin design.
Lash Queen Feline Blacks is available in three shades: black black, black brown and black grey.
