Auntie Anne’s is a popular pretzel concept at a number of US airports |
USA. HMSHost opened an Auntie Anne’s Pretzels outlet on 27 December at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport Terminal 2. HMSHost operates Auntie Anne’s units in four other US airports: Boston, Chicago, Columbus and Nashville.
“We’re excited to partner with HMSHost in adding Auntie Anne’s to this vibrant and busy concourse at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.” said Auntie Anne’s Vice President of Non-Traditional Development Brian Boycan.
Auntie Anne’s offers hand-rolled soft pretzels and freshly baked items such as salted pretzels, all-beef pretzel dogs or jalapeno, raisin and garlic flavoured pretzels. The airport location will also serve breakfast items including bacon, egg and cheese on a pretzel bun.
“We think Auntie Anne’s is a well-known, proven concept that really addresses recent customer feedback for more alternatives to full service dining in Terminal 2,” said Lambert-St. Louis Airport Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.
Auntie Anne’s is the fourth new food & beverage concept to open at Lambert Airport in the last 14 months. Other recent openings include St. Louis Brewmaster’s Tap Room, Grounded in St. Louis and Eighteen|76. A fifth restaurant, a Pasta House/Schlafly’s concept, will debut early next year in Terminal 2.
