HONG KONG. Passenger traffic levels and aircraft movements at Hong Kong International Airport broke all previous records last year.
Airport Authority Hong Kong has announced that passenger numbers rose +35% over the SARS-ruined 2003 to 37.1 million. This represents a +9.2% increase over the more meaningful benchmark year of 2002.
In December passenger traffic increased +11.5% year-on-year to 3.4 million (+12% over December 2002).
