SOUTH KOREA. Hotel Shilla Co, parent company of The Shilla Duty Free, has announced a change in roles for its two Travel Retail divisional Presidents, Ingyu Han and Roberto Graziani, with immediate effect.
Han takes over responsibility from Graziani for leading the company’s operations at Singapore Changi Airport, Macau International Airport and for The Shilla Duty Free’s new downtown store in Phuket, Thailand.
Graziani, who maintains his duties at a global level, will also focus his attention on the implementation of Shilla’s new retail activities at Hong Kong International Airport. As revealed by The Moodie Davitt Report, Shilla Travel Retail was recently awarded the newly structured beauty & accessories concession at the Hong Kong gateway, which is due to begin in late 2017.
Graziani will also assess and develop new strategic opportunities for the company.
As reported, by late 2017 Shilla will control the beauty business at Hong Kong International, Singapore Changi and Incheon International (majority) airports. For many beauty houses that makes Shilla their most important account worldwide.
As reported, Graziani and Han were named in their respective roles in late 2015 to jointly head a new Travel Retail business division. Han was President of Hotel Shilla Co and Graziani ex-President of The Nuance Group (now part of Dufry).
