USA. JFKIAT has collaborated with North American travel retailer Hudson to open what it describes as a “one-of-a-kind holiday shopping experience” in John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4’s Retail Lounge.
T4 operator JFKIAT said the festive pop-up – named ‘Holidays by Hudson’ – was inspired by the well-known Bryant Park Holiday Village in New York City.
The kiosk brings together a curated and locally-sourced selection of products for customers of all ages. Items on sale include ornaments, holiday sweaters, FAO Schwarz toys, chocolates, and a variety of other gifting products.
JFKIAT President & CEO Roel Huinink said: “JFKIAT is excited to partner with Hudson and to bring this special holiday experience to the passengers at T4. We are always looking for ways to delight our customers, and we know that this pop-up activation will bring something truly special and unique to those travelling through T4 for the holidays.”
Hudson SVP of Operations Joe Landolfi said Holidays by Hudson will allow travellers to “participate in the magic of the holidays” without having to leave the airport.
He added: “This festive pop-up activation combines invaluable convenience with memorable experiences and unparalleled customer service in a way that only Hudson can deliver. We take pride in giving each and every traveller an enjoyable and memorable experience along their journey, and we are confident Holidays by Hudson will do just that.”
