UK. Ian Macleod Distillers (IMD) has partnered with Avolta for the launch of the travel retail-exclusive Rosebank Single Malt Vintage Release III in London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5.
On display at the World of Whiskies store, the rare, limited-edition expression is elevated on a hand-crafted copper podium, engraved with the brand’s signature rose.
Rosebank Distillery Manager Neil Bulloch recently visited the store, offering travellers insights into this rare release and personally signing bottles.
Limited to only 350 bottles (47.5% ABV, 70cl, RRP£3,900/US$5,194), the 33 Year Old Rosebank Single Malt Vintage Release III is the third of five travel retail-exclusive editions in the Lowlands Rosebank vintage collection.
Drawn from the distillery’s rare cask archive, this single malt invites collectors to secure a piece of Rosebank’s history.
Capturing the signature Rosebank character, this expression combines a refined floral profile from triple distillation with the oily depth contributed by the worm tub condensers, a method exclusive to Rosebank.
Building on the success of the previous award-winning releases, the Rosebank Single Malt Vintage Release III enables collectors and enthusiasts to secure all five expressions in the series.

The Rosebank 31 Year Old Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky claimed Best in Show – Whisk(e)y at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition in November, officially earning the title of World’s Best Whisky.
The highest global spirits honour, the award represents a pivotal moment in Rosebank’s revival, supporting its long-established reputation as one of Scotland’s most admired whiskies.

The Rosebank 31 Year Old will soon launch in global travel retail in limited quantities, expanding its availability beyond the domestic market, IMD noted.
IMD Head of Travel Retail William Ovens said: “We are delighted to announce the latest very special travel retail exclusive from the Rosebank archives. The luxury podium is a stunning way to display this exquisite bottle, attracting the attention of shoppers and showcasing Rosebank, The King of the Lowlands, in the World of Whiskies store.”

Rosebank was founded in 1840 in Falkirk, just 23 miles from Edinburgh, and ceased operations in 1993, remaining inactive for over 25 years. Its revival was completed in 2023 after an award-winning, four-year reconstruction, representing one of the most important Scottish distillery revivals in recent decades. ✈
