Images of the Day: Campari paints Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay in aperitivo hues

Aperitivo hour or clockwork orange? Aperol and Espolòn Tequila transformed Perfect Day at CocoCay for Royal Caribbean’s 2025 President’s Cruise

Sun, sea and signature serves converged at Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay, where Campari Group Global Travel Retail Americas staged its first-ever destination activation with the cruise brand.

The images were captured on 24 September at Perfect Day at CocoCay, an exclusive destination in the programme of Royal Caribbean’s 2025 President’s Cruise. They show the Oasis Lagoon and the adults-only Hideaway Beach transformed into colourful brand worlds for Aperol and Espolòn Tequila.

Oasis Lagoon, Perfect Day at CocoCay’s expansive freshwater pool, was reimagined as a vibrant Aperol hub, with the bar chill-out zone, DJ booth, bridge and pool bar dressed in the brand’s signature orange tones and visual motifs.

At the adults-only Hideaway Beach, an Aperol truck, mobile bars, gifting stations and photo opportunities along the shoreline created a convivial atmosphere, celebrating Aperol’s aperitivo lifestyle. The transformation spanned the entrance, main stage, beach and pool areas, with 32 cabanas styled with Aperol cushions, décor and branded gifts.

In addition, guests received exclusive Aperol-branded summer merchandise, including sunglasses, beach bags, round towels, bracelets and tote bags.

Alongside Aperol, Espolòn Tequila made a striking debut as part of the programme. Exclusively featured at the On The Rocks Bar, the brand showcased its portfolio through expertly crafted Margaritas and a high-impact presence set against the tropical surroundings.

Dedicated Espolòn Tequila photo opportunities invited guests to engage with the brand and share their experiences across social media, while branded caps and sunglasses were offered as keepsakes.

The event marked a notable evolution of the Campari Group/Royal Caribbean partnership, taking experiential travel retail beyond shipboard and into a destination setting. It builds on last year’s successful collaboration onboard Oasis of the Seas.

All in all, Campari GTR’s takeover of Perfet Day at CocoCay was a vivid illustration of how brands are increasingly meeting travellers where holiday memories are made – blending place, experience and product into one unforgettable moment.
