QATAR. Our latest images come from The Moodie Davitt Report Publisher Irene Revilla, who drew back the blinds on the enhanced ‘Sleepover’ concept by travel experiences company Airport Dimensions during a recent transit visit at Hamad International Airport.
Airport Dimensions recently rebranded its airport in-terminal sleep station product from the ‘sleep n’ fly’ brand to ‘Sleepover’. The idea is a smart one, in which often unused airport terminal space is converted into modular, private sleep stations for travellers.

As part of a growing category in airport hospitality, Sleepover provides access to a range of comfortable modular pods and cabins, which can be booked by the hour, with optional add-ons such as showers.

One of the key sites for the refreshed look is airside in the North Node at Hamad International Airport.

Giving her view, Revilla said: “Sleepover has great facilities and makes a welcome alternative to improvised naps in airport public spaces. And there is no need to leave the airport in search of alternatives to get proper rest with great in-terminal options such as this.

“The concept is great for airport landlords too. It provides a flexible array of options for overnight passengers, long-haul connections and any delayed travellers, and it can be delivered in formats to meet airports’ commercial space availability.” ✈
