UAE. Our latest image selection comes from Dubai Airports, which today (3 November) joined in the national celebrations to mark UAE Flag Day. This featured flag-raising ceremonies across both its airports, and a show of national unity, pride and the values represented by the UAE flag.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, led the ceremony at Dubai International Airport (DXB), by raising the UAE flag as the national anthem was played.
Senior executives, employees and partners from the wider oneDXB community gathered at DXB to mark the occasion, reflecting the sense of national pride that is shared across the airport community.
Observed annually, UAE Flag Day is an opportunity to celebrate “the values of unity and belonging, honour the nation’s leadership, and reaffirm a shared commitment to the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity” said Dubai Airports. ✈
