ROMANIA. Today’s images, shared by Travel Free General Manager Marian Solomon, put the spotlight on the retailer’s upgraded border store in Vama Veche.

Serving travellers crossing the Romania-Bulgaria border, the location is one of the most strategic for Travel Free (a Gebr. Heinemann subsidiary) and the retailer’s first store to open in the country.

Announcing the milestone on social media, Solomon said the reopening reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its border retail network, creating a more engaging retail environment while providing new opportunities for brand partners.

The store showcases a diverse brand portfolio spanning premium and popular labels across spirits, beauty and lifestyle categories

The refreshed store features a larger, brighter retail space, dedicated premium brand zones, digital storytelling elements and a more extensive product assortment.

The selection includes spirits & wine, fragrances, cosmetics, food & confectionery, fashion & accessories, and eyewear, among others.
