Images of the Day: Vietnam Duty Free proves an instant consumer hit

Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

VIETNAM. Today’s images are courtesy of Vietnam Duty Free as it experiences encouraging consumer reaction and sales to its newly opened stores at Noi Bai International Airport, gateway to the nation’s capital Hanoi.

Our photo selection also conveys the diversity of the new retailer’s product range.

As reported, The Moodie Davitt Report was on location for the stores’ inaguration on 15 October, a red-letter day for both company and country.

Vietnam Duty Free, strongly positioned as ‘The National Duty Free of Vietnam’ offers shopping zones in T2’s west and east wings, the former a pioneering walk-through experience for Vietnamese travel retail. Later this year it will open a big space immediately post central security, formerly occupied by Empire Duty Free.

The open and elegant stores present a diverse and vibrant combination of international and local products, embracing liquor, tobacco, perfumes, travel essentials, fashion accessories, watches, toys, food & confectionery and more. ✈
