Jo Malone London has unveiled its latest fragrance line, Rare Teas Collection, which is available now in select travel retail locations worldwide.
Using rare teas sourced from the Chinese foothills to the Himalayas, the Rare Teas Collection combines the art of the perfumer with that of the tea master by infusing the tea straight from the leaf into a refined fragrance.
According to the brand, the six 175ml fragrances range from the “delicately romantic” to the “sensually seductive”:

The Rare Teas Collection serves up tea for six |
Silver Needle Tea – for centuries Silver Needle Tea was reserved for the imperial family of China. This romantic fragrance is described as “delicately floral” and features hints of rose, sage and musk.
Darjeeling Tea – a rich floral from the foothills of the Himalayas with jasmine, freesia and apricot.
Jade Leaf Tea – inspired by Japanese sencha with notes of pomelo, sesame and maté leaf.
Oolong Tea – a woody, earthy fragrance with bitter cocoa, almondy tonka bean and tobacco leaf.
Midnight Black Tea – a seductive oriental infused with puerh, vanilla, amber and guaiacwood.
Golden Needle Tea – layered with sandalwood and benzoin resin, the scent is evocatively described as ‘the warm wooden interior of Chinese tea houses in cloud-veiled mountains’.
