Joel Lafon announces his retirement from travel retail |
Joel Lafon, Regional Director Asia Pacific of Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail, has announced his retirement following a longstanding career with the drinks company.

In an e-mail to friends and customers, the well-respected industry veteran wrote: “After 34 years with Rémy Martin/Rémy Cointreau International, including 23 in travel retail with 13 in Hong Kong, it is time for me to retire and enjoy a new chapter of my life.
“I have really enjoyed all those years with their different challenges, cultures and experiences. My wife and I will go back to my home town of Bordeaux this summer.
“I look forward to meeting some of you during TFWA in Singapore next week.”
Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail will be present at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition at stand Q22.
