SINGAPORE. Celebrating Singapore as a travel destination – and to mark its Golden Jubilee – a new edition in the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Cities Collection has been launched exclusively at Changi Airport.
Diageo Global Travel Middle East unveiled the travel retail limited-edition release, Singapore SG50, with large-scale activations of the Johnnie Walker collection hosted by DFS and Changi Airport Group. These include a window display featuring artist and paper sculptor Jeff Nishinaka’s Singapore cityscape handcrafted paper sculpture in Terminal 3 of Changi Airport, as well as displays in all Departures and Arrivals stores across all terminals.
Nishinaka has partnered with Diageo for the entire Cities Collection, and Singapore SG50 is embellished with a design inspired by the artist which aims to bring Singapore’s skyline to life.
Available only at Changi, the Scotch whisky comes at a recommended retail price of SGD$288 (US$208).
Diageo Global Travel & Middle East Global Marketing Director Peter Fairbrother said: “Following the recent launch of the Dubai edition of Johnnie Walker Blue Label Cities Collection, we are immensely proud to offer this Singapore SG50 limited-edition design, in close partnership with DFS and Changi Airport Group.
“This series beautifully brings to life some of the most iconic travel destinations in the world, therefore it is only fitting that it is exclusive to travel retail. As such it serves as a unique souvenir of a great journey or to mark a historic occasion: Singapore’s Golden Jubilee”
