Kreol Travel Retail has launched Sweets of Oman’s Chiko confectionery brand at Saudi Duty Free at Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport.
Saudi Duty Free is managed by the joint venture between World Duty Free Group and Al Musbah, a Saudi Arabian company.
Kreol Travel Retail CEO A.S.Lal commented: “We are delighted with the initial launch of Chiko products at Jeddah Duty Free. The products will eventually be available in Dammam and Riyadh Duty Free which are scheduled to open soon.”
Kreol Travel Retail represents Chiko in the travel retail segments at Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sharjah (UAE) and Cochin (India), Lal added.

Established in 1990 and situated at the Rusayl Industrial Estate in Muscat, the capital of Oman, Sweets of Oman produces a wide range of confectionery including eclairs, toffees, fudge, caramels and enrobed chocolates.
The company said it manufactures products under stringent quality control and hygiene standards. It obtained HACCP certification in 2004 and BRC (Global Standards for Food) certification in 2008.

The Chiko brand is sold in over 40 countries, including airport retail outlets in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Muscat, Nairobi as well as India.
