As it prepares to celebrate its 80th anniversary, Lacoste is set to showcase modern takes on classics alongside contemporary new and colourful products at the TFWA World Exhibition in October [Stand number: Riviera Village RH15].
Created by the tennis player Rene Lacoste (nicknamed ‘The Crocodile’), the L.12.12. polo shirt in petit pique jersey knit will be on display. The product has 90 variations, with styles for men, women and children and all ages. From classic through to trendy design, all in a wide choice of fabrics, the polo is offered in 55 colours with the range being updated and added to each season.

New Cathy bags
This season, Lacoste is unveiling two smaller versions of its luxury Cathy bag.
From Autumn 2012, the utility bag will be available in three new seasonal colours, complementing the original classic black leather model with navy or khaki velvet calfskin and also dark grey-grained leather.
The Small Cathy Bag is a bucket bag with gentle curves and patent leather handles. Available in navy velvet calfskin or grey-grained leather, it can be worn day or night, over the shoulder or cross body.
The Cathy Clutch is a new design available in black, navy or khaki velvet calfskin. Designed to hold the bare minimum, the bag is said to deliver a huge dose of style. Described as chic and practical, it can either be carried casually in hand or worn elegantly on the shoulder with its removable strap.

The Spring/Summer 2013 collection sees the introduction of new sporty backpacks. Available in 12 colours, the collection is available in small (adapted for women) and large (for men). The bags are said to offer value for money combined with premium design and finish.
Multiple features include: reinforced laptop and mobile pockets; padded back and non-slip shoulder straps; fully lined; outside zipped pocket; and leather zip puller.
