Lacoste partner Devanlay announces Asia Pacific staff shake-up

Devanlay, Lacoste’s fashion and accessories partner, has announced a staff shake-up in Asia Pacific following the resignation of its Regional Sales Director Grace Lee.

Lee, who has resigned to spend time with her newborn daughter, will be leaving the Hong Kong-based division on 31 May 2012. Her responsibilities will be split as follows:

Erin Lillis-Arrowsmith, who is currently Retail Excellence Director for Asia, will take over the travel retail responsibilities, which span more than 60 travel retail doors.

In a letter to the company’s business contacts, Asia Pacific CEO Frank Cancelloni said: “We are confident that Erin, with her great achievements in Retail Excellence, will not only further improve the quality of these doors but will develop commercially this fast-growing channel in the region.”

Kitch Li, who is Merchandising Director for Textiles, will take over the leathergoods categories, thus aligning Asia with other regions and head office.

Said Cancelloni: “Kitch has done an amazing job in the last 18 months in creating a strong regional product organisation that supports our direct markets and works closely with Paris headquarters.”

Eliza Kwong, Commercial Director for the 10 Asia partners and in charge of Asia Operations, will take over the leathergoods responsibility, including the Hong Kong leathergoods market, where we have operated directly since the beginning of the year.

“Eliza has managed to grow our textile distributor business by +15% in 2011 and +12% in 2012,” said Cancelloni. “As the Asia textile partners also distribute leathergoods, this new organisation will create synergies, be cost-efficient and accelerate the development of this key category.”

Cancelloni concluded the letter by writing: “We want to take this opportunity to wish Grace happiness in her new life with her daughter and her family.

“In the meantime, we would also like to congratulate Erin, Eliza and Kitch for taking on these additional challenges. We are confident that this new organisation will further improve the regional office support to our direct markets and partners in the region and will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious growth plan for the region.”
