
AUSTRALIA. Swiss gourmet chocolatier Läderach has made its Australian travel retail debut with a store at Sydney Airport through a partnership with Malaysian luxury and lifestyle retailer Valiram.

Located in the Terminal 1 departures area, Läderach offers a wide selection of premium chocolate creations, from its signature FrischSchoggi to handcrafted Swiss specialities.
In a social media post, Valiram General Manager ANZ Armand Swanepoel said: “Today marks a proud milestone as we officially opened the first Läderach store in Australia at Sydney Airport.
“Bringing one of the world’s most respected premium Swiss chocolate brands to the Australian market has been an incredible journey, and we’re delighted to welcome travellers from around the world to experience Läderach’s exceptional craftsmanship, freshness and quality.”

Läderach Chief Sales Officer Nathanael Hausmann added, “We are delighted to be able to bring our fresh chocolate to customers ‘Down Under’ for the first time while continuing to pursue the growth strategy we have followed in recent years.
“Australia offers great potential, and we are already planning further locations for the coming years.”

The opening brings the Swiss chocolatier’s global footprint to more than 260 chocolateries across five continents and 30 countries.
