AUSTRALIA. Lagardère AWPL has opened the 230sq m Merchant Canberra gift store at Canberra Airport, offering local products including homewares, spirits and wines, confectionery and Australian artwork.
Local brands include Bison, Wildbrumby, Helm Wines and Jasper + Myrtle.
Canberra Airport Head of Property Merchant Richard said in a post on LinkedIn: “Canberra offers a wide range of local products that represent everything iconic to the ACT [Australian Capital Territory] and its surrounds. The perfect place to take home a little piece of the ACT.
“We are always trying to enrich the travel experience for Canberrans and our visitors, with a strong ongoing focus on showcasing local products.”
Lagardere AWPL Travel Retail Chief Executive Officer Przemyslaw Lesniak told The Moodie Davitt Report: “Merchant Canberra is celebration of all things iconic to the ACT and its surrounds.
