Lagardère Travel Retail has partnered with beauty and fashion technology company Perfect Corp. to introduce AI-powered skincare analysis and product recommendations at selected European airports.
Perfect Corp’s Skincare Pro technology is now available across Lagardère Travel Retail’s stores at Václav Havel Airport Prague, Rome Fiumicino Airport and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The service is scheduled to roll out at two further airports by the end of 2026.
Skincare Pro uses AI-powered analysis to assess 12 skin concerns: wrinkles, pores, spots, texture, dark circles, redness, oiliness, moisture, eye bags, radiance, acne and firmness.
Travellers get their skin analysed and then receive personalised product recommendations which address their individual skin needs. Afterwards, Lagardère beauty advisors help them navigate the skincare assortment at participating airports. In addition, travellers can receive a special discount by scanning a QR code.
The Skincare Pro service encourages shoppers to discover a more complete and bespoke skincare routine via an intuitive, technology-enabled consultation, the partners said.
The platform currently features 200 products from 11 international skincare brands. In addition, four K-beauty brands have been included in the Rome Fiumicino offer.
“AI-powered personalisation is transforming the way consumers discover and shop for beauty, and travel retail is an especially exciting environment for this innovation,” said Perfect Corp. Founder and CEO Alice Chang.
“With Skincare Pro, travellers can receive an intelligent, personalised skincare analysis and product recommendations within minutes, creating a more relevant and engaging beauty experience. We are delighted to partner with Lagardère Travel Retail to bring this technology to travellers across key European airports.”
“Our ambition is to continuously enhance the beauty experience we offer travellers, combining the expertise of our teams with innovative digital solutions to make shopping more personalised, relevant and engaging,” said Lagardère Travel Retail Chief Commercial & Digital Officer Lylian Vignau.
“Technology such as Skincare Pro can play an important role in helping travellers better understand their individual needs while enabling our beauty teams and brand partners to deliver a more tailored experience.
“This partnership with Perfect Corp. reflects our broader commitment to deploying new tools to create greater value for travellers and our partners across our European network.” ✈
