UAE. Lagardère Travel Retail UAE has added Story Kitchen & Bar to the dining offer at Dubai International Airport (DXB), the first outlet to open in the new Concourse B West precinct in Terminal 3.
The concept reflects the airport’s vision for the precinct, delivering a modern dining experience built on innovative design, curated food and a strong sense of place, while also capturing Dubai’s global appeal and the evolving tastes of its diverse international travellers.

A modern brasserie, Story Kitchen & Bar features design-led interiors and a fusion-inspired menu, spanning Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian influences, blending comfort food classics with creative international twists.
The restaurant offers all-day dining, including breakfast, light bites and more substantial meals.

Menu highlights include Bombay-style scrambled eggs inspired by Indian street food; Avocado Hummus, a Levantine classic reinterpreted with smashed avocado, spices and nuts; Steak du Levant, a Middle Eastern take on a French classic; and the Broken Karak Ice Cream Cone, a tribute to the region’s popular tea culture.
Complementing the food offering, the beverage list features high-demand flavoured drinks such as pistachio, matcha, ube and horchata, alongside a curated spirits & wine list, and a broad range of non-alcoholic options.
The dining experience is shaped around storytelling, from a newspaper-style menu that outlines the inspiration behind each dish to table-top conversation starters that encourage engagement.
Guests are invited to join a ‘no phone dining’ challenge, with a complimentary dessert offered as a reward. The experience is further reinforced by replacing the traditional bill folder with a book.

The design reinterprets the all-day brasserie aesthetic, evoking a refined downtown dining setting defined by dark timber, terracotta stone accents, detailed metalwork and soft furnishings that bring a warm and contemporary feel.
Another standout feature is the four-metre-high central bar, with subtle bookshelf-inspired architectural details enhancing the storytelling theme throughout the space.

A curated retail corner adds to the experience, offering Dubai-based chocolatier Mirzam exclusively through Story Kitchen & Bar at DXB. The selection highlights the brand’s bean-to-bar craftsmanship and artist-designed packaging, providing travellers with a distinctive local souvenir.
Lagardère Travel Retail UAE CEO Vadim Motlik said: “Story Kitchen & Bar was created to align with Dubai Airports’ commitment to continually enhance the passenger experience. Its opening reflects our vision to continually deliver innovative, high-quality hospitality concepts within the airport environment.
“By combining strong design, a clear sense of place and operational excellence, Story Kitchen & Bar delivers a contemporary dining destination that resonates with today’s global travellers and further supports DXB’s position as a world-leading hub.”

Dubai Airports Chief Commercial Officer Eugene Barry added: “Story Kitchen & Bar brings a distinctive, thoughtfully executed concept to the newly enhanced Concourse B West area at DXB. It reflects our belief that guest experience is not just a priority, but the foundation of everything we do.
“This shapes how we work with strategic partners such as Lagardère Travel Retail, and consider every aspect of the customer journey.
“As a homegrown concept, Story exemplifies how we’re evolving our commercial services at DXB to be more impactful, engaging and reflective of our forward-looking identity.”
