Lancôme builds on Visionnaire success with new foundation duo

Teint Visionnaire will be launched in January

Lancôme has extended its Visionnaire anti-ageing franchise with a new foundation product, called Teint Visionnaire. It will be available from January in European and US travel retail markets, before rolling out to Asia next September.

The foundation is described as the first hi-tech make-up duo that pushes the concept of perfect skin to a new level. It comprises a high-coverage corrector enriched with vitamin CG (known for its brightening properties) and a perfecting foundation which features the LR 2412 molecule found in the original Visionnaire (said to activate the skin’s defences and healing). The result is perfect coverage, with a natural finish, the brand maintains.

The lid compartment of Teint Visionnaire contains the corrector, which should be applied where needed to instantly correct dark sports, under-eye circles and any other imperfections. The fluid foundation should then be applied to the entire face.

Described as fine and weightless, the formula evens out skin tone without accentuating pores, wrinkles or fine lines, according to Lancôme. It is said to offer instant benefits, and improve skin quality over time. In clinical tests, the brand claims that after four weeks wrinkles were reduced by -10%, dark spot size by -17% and pore size by -8%. After eight weeks, the numbers were -22%, -29% and -17%, respectively.

Teint Visionnaire is available in 18 shades, to suit all skin tones.
