FRANCE. Lancôme is this month launching a new lipstick line, Color Fever, into Europe. The collection will be rolled out to Asia and the Americas in May.
The lipstick is said to deliver long-lasting, vibrant colour, within a comfortable, hydrating formula.
Color Fever was created in conjunction with Lancôme Art Director and Make-up Artist Gucci Westman. “I imagined an infinite number of shades and a choice of four spectacular effects,” she explained. “[These are] Intense Cream, Pearly Satin, Shimmery Spangles and Metallic Reflections, to satisfy each and every desire.”
The lipstick formula features Lancôme’s Light Maximizer Technology, which combines three transparent oils which coat each pigment in order to augment light reflection. It is also said to help “fix” colour onto lips for up to five hours after application.
Color Fever is available in 42 shades, split into three colour harmonies: orange to red; beige to brown; and pink to violet.
The twist-up lipstick case is coloured silver, with two tinted transparent sides which reference the colour harmony each lipstick belongs to. Lancôme’s signature rose is embossed on the front and top of each case.
Color Fever will be promoted by Lancôme face and model Daria Werbowy.
