Lark Distilling Co targets Asia Pacific travel retail growth with CoLab distribution deal

Lark Distilling Co has signed an agreement with Singapore brand distribution company CoLab for the Asia Pacific travel retail debut of Australia’s pioneering Tasmanian whisky.

In a social media post, Lark Distilling Co said: “This partnership marks a meaningful milestone in expanding our regional distribution, and a brilliant opportunity for travellers across Asia to discover our exclusive travel retail portfolio.”

The partnership was announced ahead of the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in Singapore (11-14 May), where the distillery will present its portfolio at the event for the first time (Stand 2-X15).

Founded by the ‘Godfather of the Australian whisky industry’ Bill Lark and his family, Lark Distillery leads the country’s fast-growing distilling industry, which has expanded to more than 400 locations.

The distillery is based in Tasmania and benefits from the island state’s pure water, world-class barley, highland peat bogs and clean air.

Lark Distillery gave rise to the development of the Tasmanian – and Australian – whisky industry. Many of Australia’s top distillers work at and were trained by Bill Lark.
