Lateltin will introduce CHrütli Schwur, a new herbal liqueur brand, to its portfolio at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in Singapore next month (stand number: J31).
According to Lateltin, herbal liqueurs are gaining popularity in the spirits category. Its new CHrütli Schwur brand is a Swiss herbal liqueur based on a traditional recipe for well-being and prosperity, and contains Swiss alpine herbs such as peppermint, thyme and sage and hints of tropical fruit skins. The liqueur can be served straight with ice, as a shot or in mixed drinks.
Lateltin claims it cannot reveal the liqueur’s recipe, but it guarantees the herbs’ Swiss origin. The brand name is a word play in Swiss dialect: CHrütli means ‘Swiss herbs’ and Schwur means ‘to swear’, the company explained.
Lateltin will also introduce new packaging for Cresta Swiss Chocolate Liqueur alongside two brands of liqueurs, ProVokant and Gold Schnee.
Cresta Swiss Chocolate Liqueur is Lateltin’s main export product, and the company is targeting the gift market with its new tin packaging. The cream liqueur, described as light and smooth with a delicate finish, comes in a bottle designed to emphasise its quality. Recommended serving is straight on ice or as a cocktail ingredient.
The ProVokant vodka liqueurs target a young trendy market and each colour has its characteristic flavour. According to Lateltin, the triple distilled vodka range is popular in Switzerland where it has existed for many years as ‘Bull Vodka’. Recommended serving suggestions are as a shot or in a long drink.
The two Gold Schnee liqueurs are cinnamon and mandarin flavoured. Gold flakes provide a touch of luxury and underline the liqueurs’ high quality, the company said. The brand name is based on the floating gold flakes: Gold Schnee means ‘golden snow’ in German. The products can be enjoyed straight or in mixed drinks.
