Balmy nights with L’Eau d’Issey |
FRANCE. Beauté Prestige International (BPI) will launch the second men’s fragrance from designer Issey Miyake into travel retail worldwide from 1 October. The line was previewed to the trade at this year’s Duty Free Show of the Americas (The Moodie Report.com, 31 March).
BPI director international travel retail Louis-Benoît Barth described the launch as a key priority for BPI. “Issey Miyake is a huge pillar for us, and there is enough space within the brand to support a second major story,” he told The Moodie Report earlier this year.
L’Eau Bleue D’Issey pour Homme is a woody aromatic fragrance. The juice features notes of tangerine, lemon grass, pink pepper and patchouli. In line with the fragrance name, the flacon is a blue parallelogram, topped with a chrome cap. Blue and white are also the key colour themes for the outer packaging.
