UK. Pernod Ricard World Trade is offering an exclusive opportunity to World Duty Free (WDF) customers at London Heathrow Terminal 3. Purchasers of Bushmills Malt 1982 Vintage Bourbon finish will now be able to instantly customise the distinctive bottle with a personalised label making it perfect for a special gift or just pure self-indulgence.
The promotion, which commences at the beginning of March, is part of an ongoing strategy aimed at enhancing awareness of the Bushmills Malt brand within travel retail. Customers will be able to choose a personalised message for the bottle’s front label which will then be printed in-store. A limited edition of only 200 bottles will be available in WDF at London Heathrow Terminal 3. Standard bottles of the Vintage, with pre-printed labels, will also be available at World of Whiskies stores throughout the UK. Each bottle, priced at £150 (US$240), will be presented in a stylish wooden box which will also contain a tasting card insert.
Pernod Ricard World Trade marketing director James Clarke commented: “We believe that this is the first time such labelling technology has been available on-site and we hope that it will prove popular with existing Bushmills drinkers as well as attracting newcomers to the brand.”
Bushmills, the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, produces Ireland’s only aged malt whiskeys of which the most prestigious is the Bushmills 21 year old.
