Spanish porcelain brand Lladró has created an Amsterdam-inspired lithophane light exclusively for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Part of the porcelain Lighting Collection, the Amsterdam lithophane will be available for purchase on KLM flights from 1 September.
The Dutch capital is the fifth European capital to which Lladró has dedicated a lithophane, following London, Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia (the city where all Lladró creations are born). The translucent character of porcelain creates a glowing effect, with artwork inspired by the iconic architecture of Amsterdam, when the lithophane is illuminated.
The Amsterdam lithophane is handmade in the workshops in Valencia.
