ARGENTINA. Leading regional travel retailer London Supply Group has launched a Sensory Support Kit at its Duty Free Shop Puerto Iguazú, supporting neurodivergent customers and those with sensory sensitivities.
The initiative forms part of the retailer’s London Accessible programme, an inclusive management model combining sensory support resources with dedicated sensory rooms at its stores across airports in Patagonia.

Developed in partnership with Fundación Socialmentik, a local organisation focused on neurodivergence research and education, the programme also includes technical training and awareness programmes for operations and customer service teams to ensure its long-term impact.
The kit offers a personalised alternative to traditional structural adaptations, enabling users to independently manage sensory overload triggered by elements commonly found in retail environments, such as lighting, noise and fragrances. Available free of charge at the store’s main reception, it includes:

- Acoustic and visual regulation: Noise-cancelling ear defenders with graduated attenuation and custom-designed visual filter glasses to soften glare and bright commercial lighting.
- Olfactory mitigation: An olfactory filter that dampens the intensity of scents and perfumes, enabling easier navigation through high-sensory areas such as the perfumery department.
- Predictability and communication: A graphic guide featuring pictograms to help visitors anticipate the store layout and reduce anxiety, alongside a non-verbal communication panel.
Providing a more inclusive customer experience
The latest initiative is a flagship concept under London Accessible, London Supply Group’s corporate platform for promoting equity and inclusion across its business units.
The programme is supported by the group’s airport division, with the recent opening of a sensory room at Trelew International Airport among its key developments, alongside the phased introduction of calm and regulation spaces across other group-managed airport terminals in Patagonia.
London Supply Group Sustainability and Strategic Communication Director María Taratuty said, “In the travel retail and tourism infrastructure sectors, true innovation happens when we place empathy and accessibility at the heart of our business model.
“With London Accesible, our goal isn’t merely to adapt a space, but to lead a profound transformation in how we design the travel and shopping experience.
“We hope this pioneering development inspires and encourages other industry players to integrate accessibility solutions into their operations, proving that inclusion is a collective commitment we must build together across the entire industry.”
The milestone is part of London Supply Group’s broader efforts to strengthen accessibility and inclusive customer service across its operations.
Strategic supplier L&D Visual also contributed to the initiative, donating Karün and Monkey Grove sunglasses. ✈
