L’Oréal Travel Retail and Skinceuticals pioneer medical-luxury retail experience with China Duty Free in Hainan

A big and expectant crowd gathers inside cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex on 14 March at the Grand Opening of the SkinCeuticals Future Radiant Glass Skin Lab

CHINA. SkinCeuticals Travel Retail APAC introduced a first-ever pop-up for its disruptive P-TIOX anti-wrinkle serum Future Radiant Glass Skin Lab in partnership with China Duty Free Group (CDFG) at cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex from 1 March to 29 March 2026

The Pop-up recognises the rising popularity of medical aesthetic tourism and the product sector’s burgeoning importance within travel retail

SkinCeuticals Travel Retail APAC (part of L’Oréal Travel Retail APAC) said the venture underscores the global #1 medical aesthetic skincare brand’s commitment to providing unparalleled skincare solutions to a worldwide audience and highlights its strong medical anchorage within travel retail.

SkinCeuticals Travel Retail APAC has fostered a strong synergy with the brand’s well-established medical network in China’s domestic market.

As aesthetic tourism continues to rise in popularity, SkinCeuticals pledges to bridge the gap between professional clinical science and the traveller’s skincare routine.

P-TIOX, described as a first-of-its-kind peptide anti-wrinkle serum, is inspired by the effects of anti-wrinkle neurotoxin injections.

SkinCeuticals says the serum is proven to reduce the appearance of nine types of expression lines, even hard-to-target areas, and reveal glass skin radiance.

Before entering the pop-up, visitors were greeted by an interactive face sculpture powered by Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) technology that showcased the anti-wrinkle benefits of P-TIOX serum.

Visitors could enjoy a complimentary skin analysis with SkinCeuticals’ proprietary SkinScope 2.0 Analysis Device. Utilising multi-spectral imaging, SkinScope 2.0 reveals skin conditions such as hidden sensitivity, pore conditions, hyperpigmentation and more.

With AI-powered personalised product recommendations, SkinScope 2.0 helps travellers achieve their healthiest-looking skin.

Selected visitors could also experience the exclusive SkinCeuticals x Hydrafacial treatment to reveal their best skin yet. They were invited to the SkinCeuticals Boutique Cabin Room to experience a three-step non-invasive aesthetic skincare treatment that offers instant improvements in skin quality, texture, and tone.

This synergistic experience showcases the complementarity of SkinCeuticals products to medical aesthetics and embodies the Integrated Skincare philosophy of SkinCeuticals, the brand pointed out.
