L’Oréal Travel Retail sweetens airport experience with Bonbon events

L’Oréal Travel Retail has hailed the success of Bonbon, the new feminine fragrance from the house of Viktor & Rolf, following a number of special airport promotions within EMEA travel retail.

The fragrance, which made its debut during the design duo’s Spring/Summer haute couture show, is described as an ode to pleasure and indulgence. The name translates as “sweet” or “candy”. The juice is composed around a series of caramel notes, enhanced with mandarin, orange, peach, jasmine and woods. The flacon is a striking bow shape.

Bonbon has been promoted via impactful animations in a number of airports, including Paris Charles de Gaulle, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and London Heathrow Terminal 3. As part of the events, passengers have been offered a special chocolate created exclusively for Bonbon by Parisian patisserie and chocolatier Hugo & Victor.

At Heathrow T3, which is hosting a Bonbon event from 10 April to 20 May, the fragrance ranked first among all beauty references during the first week of the promotion, according to L’Oréal.
