L’Oréal Travel Retail to introduce hair care and dermocosmetics

As revealed earlier today via Moodie Live and The Moodie Report Twitter feed, L’Oréal Travel Retail is set to introduce its Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Kérastase brands to key Asian travel retail doors by the end of 2014, ahead of a roll-out to Americas travel retail in 2015. Vichy and La Roche-Posay will be retailed through Dermacenter flagship shop-in-shops that will highlight the dermocosmetics segment. They will offer personalised diagnostics and professional advice from specially trained staff.

Kérastase is the world’s leading luxury professional hair care brand and heralds the introduction of a hitherto unexploited product category in the travel retail channel. A tailor-made retail approach and professional hair and scalp consultations will be offered via dedicated Kérastase Hair Studios.

L’Oréal President Selective Divisions Nicolas Hieronimus commented: “By meeting consumers’ beauty aspirations, whatever their nationalities, beauty rituals or purchasing power, L’Oréal Travel Retail plays a strategic role in conquering new consumers who will pursue their experience with our brands in their home countries. The launch of Vichy, La Roche-Posay and Kérastase in travel retail demonstrates our confidence in the huge potential of this channel. From now on, all the group’s major brands will have the opportunity to develop on this “sixth continent”.
