SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has marked 100 days since the opening of its Incheon Airport store on 17 July through a celebratory event, featuring brand ambassador aespa and exclusive promotions in Terminal 2.
The milestone event was attended by Lotte Duty Free CEO Kim Dong-ha and Incheon International Airport Corporation COO Kim Chang-kyu.
Celebrations included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a guided store tour, a hand-printing ceremony with K-pop powerhouse aespa and commemorative photo opportunities.

The retailer has rolled out a series of shopping benefits running from 17 July through next month, including the weekly Pre LDF Pay offer, which can be used towards purchases across cosmetics, liquor and food categories.
Adding to the festivities, the Lucky Seat event gives eligible passengers with matching flight seat numbers KRW50,000 (US$34) in LDF Pay to spend exclusively at the Incheon Airport store.
Customers not selected in the Lucky Seat event will receive a set of two travel pouches, while those who spend US$100 or more will receive limited-edition aespa photocards, available while stocks last.

As reported, Lotte Duty Free opened for business at Incheon International Airport on 17 April, marking a critical comeback to the Republic’s premier gateway after a near three-year absence.
The launch marked the first day of a ten-year concession to sell perfumes & cosmetics, and liquor & tobacco across the multi-store DF1 Zone retail footprint.

Lotte Duty Free was awarded the rights in February to operate 15 stores across some 4,094sq m of space.
The retailer said it expects annual sales to exceed KRW600 billion (US$406 million) following development of the DF1 operation.

Building on the ongoing recovery in passenger traffic, Lotte Duty Free is strengthening its exclusive product assortment at Incheon Airport, positioning the gateway as a strategic growth platform while boosting commercial performance and advancing its position as a leading global duty-free operator.
At the ceremony, Lotte Duty Free CEO Kim Dong-ha said: “The successful opening of the Incheon Airport store is a meaningful achievement made possible by customer trust and close collaboration with Incheon International Airport Corporation.
“Moving forward, Lotte Duty Free will continue to set new standards for Incheon Airport duty-free shopping through differentiated product competitiveness and service.” ✈
