SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has revealed a host of K-pop superstars that will be taking to the stage for the retailer’s annual Family Concert.
The 2019 iteration of what is a firm fixture in Lotte’s calendar will see the likes of BTS, Twice, Kim Gun-mo and Dynamic Duo take to the stage in Seoul’s Olympic Gymnastics Arena from 9 to 11 August.
On 9 August, the first day of the concert, Ji Chang-wook, Kim Gun-mo, Kim Yeon-woo, Bolbbalgan4 and Im Chang-jung will be performing. The second day, 10 August, will see hip-hop performances from the likes of MFBTY and Dynamic Duo. Finally, 11 August will see K-pop megastars BTS perform, as well as Super Junior, TXT and Itzy.
Tickets for the Family Concert are available as of today (24 June) on a first-come-first-served basis for customers that spend over US$600 at Lotte’s World Tower and Coex downtown duty free stores, or the retailer’s airport stores at Incheon International or Gimpo International.
Lotte Duty Free Head of Marketing Kim Jung-hyun said that the Family Concert is Lotte’s way of being at the forefront of the Korean cultural scene. He added that the retailer would continue to carry out marketing activities to enhance the competitiveness of the Korean tourism industry.
