Louis Vuitton stands tall in duplex splendour with Shinsegae Duty Free at Incheon Airport

Finished with flair: The dazzling new façade, beautifully mirrored in the gleaming walkway, showcases the dramatic impact of the duplex format

SOUTH KOREA. Louis Vuitton has completed its duplex store in Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 with the unveiling of a new façade.

The store is designed to highlight the French luxury house’s long-standing connection to the ‘Art of Travel’.

As reported, Shinsegae Duty Free formally opened the duplex boutique – a first for any Korean gateway – on 30 May.

The store features a sculptural spiral staircase that creates a distinctive two-level retail experience for international and Korean travellers.

The newly revealed façade draws inspiration from travel, movement and light. Wrapping the shop’s expansive volume, the design reinterprets Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram Flower as three-dimensional sculptural modules, creating a dynamic surface that changes with light and viewing angles throughout the day.

FIT for purpose

Inside, the store offers a gallery-inspired environment with curated artworks displayed throughout the space, alongside a broad assortment of leathergoods, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, fine jewellery and travel collections.

As noted in our May report, the duplex boutique is targeted at free independent travellers, today the core focus of the Korean travel retail sector.
