As previously reported, MAC Cosmetics has teamed up with singer/songwriter Beth Ditto to create a limited-edition MAC Beth Ditto Collection, which is rolling out now in travel retail.
The eye-catching line is said to shoot a knowing wink to candy-glossed pop. It features Zoom Lash Mascara in three shades, plus Zoom Fast Black Lash, Pro Longwear Lipcremes and nail lacquers.
Making its debut in the collection is MAC’s Shade & Smoke Shadow/Liner, a dual-ended pairing of eye shadow and Greasepaint Liner, designed to help consumers achieve the perfect smoky eye. Liquidlast Liner, 7 Lash and a polka-dot Powder to the People compact also feature.
The collection is said to offer “polished punk sensibility” and shades which range from tender to tart. Names include In Synch, Drag, Strip, Heart Hangover and Beth or Glory.
