Maison Gautier’s Pinar Del Rio Gautier XO Cognac has been listed by Dubai Duty Free from December.
The expression takes its name from Cuba’s Pinar Del Rio, a province to the west of Havana and known as the home of many of the world’s best tobacco plantations.
Pinar Del Rio Gautier XO is an exclusive blend, crafted from old and rare liquids from Maison Gautier’s Paradise Cellar. Said to marry perfectly with cigars, the Cognac has been co-created with Cuban cigar Master Blender Don Alejandro Robaina.
The XO has an amber colour, with flashes of mahogany and rosewood, and is a powerful and intense blend with notes of dried fruits and spicy and oaky aromas. According to Maison Gautier, its XO Pinar del Rio is “best enjoyed neat, ideally with an excellent cigar”.
