Mamont Vodka unveils revamped tusk-shaped bottle and limited edition

Russia’s Mamont Vodka has unveiled a new-look for its mammoth tusk-shaped bottle.

Featuring a compass at the base of the bottle, the new design includes a luminous cap and illustration of the Yukagir mammoth. The redesign aims to present Mamont at an ultra-premium level in more than 35 markets globally, the brand stated.

The new bottle is already available on the Russian market and was rolled out in Europe and the UK at the end of 2015. The global launch is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.

A limited edition 500ml bottle featuring a map of Siberia will be available in selected travel retail outlets.

According to the brand, Mamont Vodka is six times distilled from white winter wheat. The spirit is combined with Altai Mountain spring water and filtered through silver birch charcoal to offer “extra smoothness and crystal purity”.

Inspired by the discovery of the Yukagir mammoth, the vodka is said to celebrate polar exploration and “the epic moments in life”.

“With its soft taste, a hint of sweetness and a dry finish, Mamont is as unique as its tusk-shaped bottle,” Mamont Vodka stated.
