Media Frankfurt unveils biggest digital airport advertising space in Europe

Media Frankfurt has unveiled what it claims is the biggest digital advertising space at a European airport.

The Digitial Landmark, outside Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport, features a 100sq m LED screen in 5.5m x 18.3m unit. The screen offers advertisers the ability to use video as well as still images, and to use different graphics throughout the day.

The screen can be seen by all terminal users, representing 13 million passengers and well-wishers a year. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is the launch client, with a year-long campaign planned by Kinetic Worldwide Germany. Fiat’s also used media agency Maxus Communications.

Media Frankfurt Managing Director Simone Schwab said: “The Digital Landmark offers a completely new scope for productions and can also meet complex communications requirements from brand image building through to striking product launches.
