Nick Forbes: A sad loss |
AUSTRALIA. With deep sadness we report the sudden death of respected industry executive Nick Forbes in Australia.
Nick had worked at Australian Pacific Airports Corporation (Melbourne Airport) and Brisbane Airport before becoming General Manager – Retail for Auckland Airport from 2004 to 2008. He then became Group Retail Operations Director at Aer Rianta International before returning to his native Australia in early 2011. Since then he has worked as an aviation and travel retail consultant.
Nick was a good friend of The Moodie Davitt Report and many others. Former Australasian colleagues we have spoken to over the past 24 hours have described his guiding influence over their own careers. They and many others join us in sadness at his loss and express our condolences to his partner Shell and family.
