Aramis and Designer Fragrances has unveiled three new fragrance and colour assortments from designer Michael Kors. Each has been created to represent a different consumer mood. Kors’ first global beauty lifestyle collection also features complementary body and sun offerings.
The collection is underpinned by three new fragrances, each constructed to represent one of three facets of the Michael Kors woman: SPORTY, SEXY and GLAM. The fragrance line will be available in travel retail locations in the Americas and certain European doors from October. The cosmetics will follow in selected travel retail locations in early 2014.

According to the brand, the SPORTY CITRUS fragrance aims to communicate the appeal of the confident, casual woman who puts herself together with a polished ease – and always has fun doing it. The juice combines notes of orange, mandarin, woods and white florals.
As its name suggests, the SEXY AMBER scent puts the spotlight on amber, sandalwood and musk, teamed with orange, mandarin and white florals. The fragrance was inspired by the bold colours that often highlight a Kors fashion collection.
Lastly, GLAM JASMINE aims to embody the woman who amplifies her evening with colour-concentrated looks in rich, deep hues such as plum and berry. It features notes of jasmine, woods and citrus. All three fragrances are available as a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml.
The Beauty Collection comprises a hit list of products designed to achieve the burnished bronze skin, bold nails and beautiful lips of the signature Michael Kors style. The designer’s first foray into colour is a tightly-edited line of nudes, brights and darks.
The lip offer features three Lip Luster lipsticks (Muse, Siren, Icon) presented in metallic gold packaging, and three Lip Lacquer glosses (Sporty Diva, Sexy Bombshell, Glam Dame). There are six nail lacquer shades – two for each mood, from pale nude to deep ebony.
The face offer comprises three bronze powders (Sporty Glow, Sexy Flush and Glam Beam), each presented in an oversized, square gold compact, reminiscent of the Kors watch collection. These should be applied with the brand’s Bronze Powder soft Kabuki brush.
Complementing the Beauty Collection is the Sun Collection, which features a self-tanner, after sun gelée and lip balm, to help deliver a sun-kissed glow all year round.
The 150ml Liquitan Self Tanner is an amber-tinted, fast-acting formula which imparts an instant coppery colour that develops into a natural-looking tan in under an hour, the brand maintains.
The 150ml After Sun Gelée is said to soothe over-heated skin with cool, deep hydration. The gel-like lotion incorporates aloe and a hint of fragrance. The 3.4g After Sun Lip Balm is lightly tinted with a hint of shimmer.
Lastly, Michael Kors has created a Body Collection comprising a 175ml Indulgent Body Creme, a 95ml Liquid Shimmer Dry Oil Spray and 130g Shimmer Bath Beads.
