SOUTH KOREA. Japanese premium childrenswear brand Miki House has unveiled of its first duty-free store in South Korea at Lotte Duty Free Jeju.
The launch marks Miki House’s fifth permanent duty-free location worldwide, following openings at cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex and Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex in Hainan, China and at Kansai International Airport in Japan.
Alongside its permanent stores, the company has also created several pop-ups across Japanese airports.
The boutique is the first children’s apparel brand to open in the Luxury Fashion Zone on the second floor of Lotte Duty Free Jeju, a highlight of the retailer’s store on the popular holiday destination island.
The family-friendly store combines warm wood-inspired interiors with visual elements inspired by Jeju Island’s natural scenery and cultural identity. It pays tribute to Jeju’s famous tangerines and coastal landscapes through themed wall installations and photo-friendly displays.

The store offers Miki House’s lightweight outerwear, sun-protection accessories, children’s backpacks, footwear, toys and gift items designed to meet the practical needs of travelling families.
A dedicated footwear display is a key element and offers a broad range tailored to different stages of childhood growth. Here, educational displays and video content highlight the brand’s approach to children’s development and its emphasis on Japanese craftsmanship and quality.
A representative of Regency Korea, the local Korean import agent for Miki House’s duty-free business, commented, “Miki House is recognised for its unique technical expertise and exceptional quality.

“Trusted by families over many years, the brand appeals to customers who value both functionality and lasting quality, and who seek the very best for their children.”
Miki House recently made its debut at TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference 2026. Its presence showcased handcrafted shoes, jibei (traditional Japanese summer wear), skincare products, hats and baby essentials.
According to the company, the exhibition generated positive interest from buyers in markets including the Middle East and India. It said the brand will continue to expand in South Korea and Japan travel retail alongside other key markets and regions. ✈
