THAILAND/INTERNATIONAL. Mondelez World Travel Retail (WTR) has become a Platinum Partner of The Trinity Forum, the world’s leading airport commercial revenues conference. The event will be hosted by King Power International Group of Companies in Bangkok on 26-28 February 2014.

A further major partnership announcement will be made this week.

For the first time The Trinity Forum will be a three-way alliance between The Moodie Report, Airports Council International (ACI) and ACI Asia-Pacific. First details of a compelling and very different programme will be announced this week, including some outstanding speakers from both within and outside travel retail.

The theme for 2014 is “˜Towards Cutting-Edge Retail’. The Trinity Forum 2014 will champion excellence and innovation across a range of areas from supply chain to social media, design to data capture, as well as exploring the upside potential of true industry stakeholder collaboration.

Mondelez WTR Managing Director Andreas Fehr said: “Mondelez WTR is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of The Trinity Forum 2014, in a year in which we celebrate a special milestone in our company’s travel retail history – our 20th anniversary.

“I firmly believe that the topic of the 2014 Forum – ‘Towards Cutting-Edge Retail’ – perfectly reflects the aspirations of Mondelez WTR as we strive to make this business ‘best in class’ by working hand-in-hand with our partners to offer global travellers unforgettable shopping experiences via innovative products and superb in-store engagement – central themes which run through our Delighting Travelers confectionery category vision.”

This is the second time that The Trinity Forum has been held at the King Power Complex – the first time in its 11-year history that the event has returned to a former venue.

The Moodie Report Founder and Chairman Martin Moodie will also announce the winner of the first-ever Trinity Prize, announced at last year’s event (full details this week), while the winners of ‘The Moodies’ – the world’s first airport-specific digital, mobile and social media awards (now in their second year) – will be presented at a dedicated lunch on day two.

Further support for the 2014 event comes from Mars International Travel Retail and Lacoste, which have been named as Silver Partners.

Furla is providing the day one lunch with further support from Ferrero for afternoon coffee.

Hotel and delegate registration is now open, with “˜Early Bird’ registration rates ending on Tuesday 31 December. Click here for further details www.trinity2014.com
