More exhibitors hail the Virtual Travel Retail Expo 2021 showcase opportunity

INTERNATIONAL. As momentum gathers behind the Virtual Travel Retail Expo, to be held on 11-15 October 2021, more exhibitors are confirming their participation in the much anticipated digital event. The Exhibition Hall continues to attract more partners, with many returning for a second successive year.

Skincare brand Filorga has joined again as a Gold Partner. Global Travel Retail Director Nicolas Rimeau said: “With this second edition, The Moodie Davitt Report reaffirms the full necessity and ability of travel retail to adapt to the ‘new normal’. I’m a strong advocate of the resilience of our industry and as a Gold Partner for the second year in a row, our teams are excited to showcase to all the retailers the amazing accomplishments achieved during the past year in terms of product innovation, digitalisation and evolution of our brand concept in spite of this challenging context. Looking forward to meeting all of you at our virtual booth.”

Fekkai, namesake brand of global celebrity stylist Frédéric Fekkai, has also confirmed its participation.

Founder Frédéric Fekkai said: “Being green became important to me over a decade ago, and since then I’ve made a commitment to live a more sustainable life both personally and professionally. A natural next step was to take my passion for the environment and make an impact on the beauty industry. We are extremely proud to introduce Fekkai with TR Partners to global travel retail and hope to provide another way for consumers to take small steps towards changing their environmental footprint.”

UK-based Ahmad Tea, a ‘family company founded and run on family values’ over 35 years ago, has also confirmed participation. The company said: “Ahmad Tea is very much looking forward to participating in the upcoming Virtual Travel Retail Expo 2021 and being able not only to interact with customers once again, but also to support the recovery of the travel industry through this new and innovative virtual approach. Although we are relative newcomers to the world of travel retail, we have a wealth of experience in tea gifting and souvenirs generally, and for Ahmad Tea this is a channel where we feel we will be able to really showcase our brand and invite the world in to experience our extraordinary teas in innovative and relevant formats.”
